Bert Felstead was the director of the nine Animaland films produced by David Hand at GB Animation, all between 1948 and 1950. Film ititles were: The Cuckoo; The Ostrich; The Lion (Felis leo); The House-Cat (Felis Vulgaris); The Platypus; It's a Lovely Day; Bee-Bother; Ginger Nutt's Christmas Circus andThe Forest Dragon. When the Moor Hall Studios closed in 1950, Bert went on to draw funny-animal storie for pre-school comics such as Playhour and Jack and Jill.
