Alma Coles was a tracer who was featured, and credited, in the Pathé Pictorial item about the making of Animal Farm, released 20 June 1955. Alma Freda Coles was born on 12 Oct 1935 in Orsett, Essex, the third child of Sheffield electrician Leonard Coles and his wife Lilian, who had moved south to improve his employment options.
In 1956 she emigrated to Jamaica.
